Chandigarh: Defending champion Manipur continued its winning form, routing Haryana 9-0 for its second successive victory in the Group I quarterfinal league in the third National junior (under-17) girls' football championship here on Wednesday. With this win, Manipur has ensured itself a berth in the semifinal with six points from two matches. Y. Kamala Devi (35th, 36th, 73rd), M. Mandakini Devi (25th, 55th, 68th), N. Montesori Chanu (65th), Chan Chan Chanu (15th) and N. Binodini Devi (33rd) scored for Manipur. In another match, Tamil Nadu outplayed Punjab 4-0. It was Tamil Nadu's first victory and Punjab's first defeat. R. Radhika scored the first goal for Tamil Nadu in the 30th minute. Maintaining pressure, M. Teyanthi made it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Radhika (55th) and R. Kalpana (65th) contributed one goal each to end Punjab's hopes of a semifinal berth. UNI
