Two charred to death

Staff Reporter

ANANTAPUR: A woman allegedly clasped her paramour to death along with herself, when the latter doused her with kerosene and torched her following an altercation over the sale of her property in Kadiri on Wednesday. According to the police, Kamalamma (35) of Subbarayanipalle in Nallacheruvu mandal, who lost her husband, migrated to Kaidiri.

She developed illicit relationship with one Ramanna (50).

However, differences between the two had widened in the recent weeks.

The two had a serious altercation after Ramanna wanted to dispose a house site owned by Kamalamma. Around 2 a.m., Ramanna allegedly doused her with kerosene and torched her. However, she jumped on him and held him tightly. The two were charred to death on the spot as the neighbours did not dare to go near them fearing the flames.
