State-level `map quiz'

Chennai: Are you willing to pit your knowledge of geography and map reading skills against others'?

Then, a State-level `map quiz' to be organised in August might give you an opportunity to do exactly that.

Organised by the Survey of India and Indian National Cartographic Association, the quiz is open for students from classes eight to ten. M. Stalin, deputy director of INCA, Tamil Nadu branch, said that this was the second State-level quiz organised to create awareness of cartography and geography among students. The last date for registration for the quiz is July 21. For details, contact Mr. Stalin at 044 - 2231 7095.
