KOZHIKODE: The Federation of Higher Secondary Teachers' Associations (FHSTA) will observe a token strike on August 17 demanding withdrawal of the Government decision denying benefits under the new pay scale for the higher secondary teachers. The association will observe July 21 as Higher Secondary Teachers Rights Day prior to the token strike, FHSTA chairman Joshy Antony said on Tuesday.
