THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to appoint Raju Narayana Swamy as the Collector of Kottayam.

Kottayam Collector Rani George will be posted as Managing Director of the State Cooperative Bank.

K.J. Mathew will be appointed as Principal Secretary (General Education) and Sayan Chatterjee as Secretary (Water Resources). S. Subbayyan will be posted as Secretary (Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development) and Lida Jacob as Secretary (Housing).

E. Ayyappan will be appointed as Director of Scheduled Caste Development. He will also hold additional charge of Scheduled Tribes Development.

K. R. Jyothilal will be appointed as Special Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies) and T. T. Antony will be the new Director of State Insurance.
