VISAKHAPATNAM: A photo exhibition on road safety and playlets by cultural troupes marked the conclusion of the weeklong SAFAR programme at VUDA Children's Theatre on Tuesday. Presiding over the valedictory function, Deputy Transport Commissioner S. Venkateswara Rao said that the programme was being organised with the involvement of the public to create safety awareness among road users. Motor Vehicle Inspector N.V. Sivaramakrishna made a PowerPoint presentation on various aspects of road safety. Representatives of consumer associations P.K. Lingeswara Rao, Satyanarayana Raju, general manager of Varun Motors Hari Prasad, general secretary of the All-India Motor Vehicles Technical Officers' Association P. Nookaraju and Motor Vehicle Inspectors Y. Venu Kumar and A.H. Khan participated.
