BJP plans mass fast

The city committee of the BJP at a meeting on Tuesday decided to organise a mass fast against rise in prices of essential commodities near the Collectorate here on Friday as part of the party's nation-wide programme.

`Ghanta Naadam', another nation-wide programme , will be held on July 24 to coincide with the commencement of Parliament session.

Competitions

City-based Creative Entertainers will conduct competitions in painting, dance and singing for schoolchildren below 18 years of age at Ananda Gajaptahi Auditorium, Vizianagaram, on Sunday.
