SCR to operate special train for Ajmer

Keeping in view of the annual Urs-e-shareef at Ajmer, the South Central Railway is operating a special train.

The special train, no. 717, would leave Hyderabad at 2 p.m. on July 28 via Secunderabad, Kazipet, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Balarshah, Nagpur and arrive at Ajmer at 4.15 a.m. on July 30. Train no.718 (return) would depart Ajmer at 9.35 p.m. on August 2 and would arrive at Hyderabad by 4 p.m. on August 4.

Electric crematorium being repaired

The electric crematorium at Bansilalpat graveyard, Secunderabad, is under major repairs. MCH Additional Commissioner (Health and Sanitation) Rammohan in a press release said it would take ten days for the electric crematorium to get repaired.

Three-month foundation course

A three-month foundation-training programme of combined cadre administrative, finance and accounts officers of the ICAR institutes began at the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) here on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the programme, R. K. Samanta, Acting Director of NAARM, stressed the need for constantly updating one's knowledge to keep abreast with the latest developments.
