NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested by the South Delhi police for alleged criminal assault on a 10-year-old girl in her school on July 7. According to the police, the crime was reported at Okhla in South Delhi on July 8 by the victim's mother. The victim told the police that she had a throat problem on that day and a woman in burqua offered her a pill. The victim consumed the pill and felt drowsy. She then went to the toilet. On her way back, a young man accosted her and took her to a narrow lane where he allegedly criminally assaulted her. The victim then passed out. Her elder sister spotted her and took her home. She narrated the incident to her mother the next day and the police were informed.
