KOCHI: Two officials from the office of the Director-General of Shipping arrived in Kavaratti to study the condition of `Isabel III,' the Taiwanese fishing vessel that ran aground in the Lakshadweep Sea on Sunday. The officials will study how the ship can be recovered and how the large quantity of diesel it holds can be siphoned out. Meanwhile, Central Government authorities are waiting to hear from the owners of the ship and the representatives of the Taiwan Government. Intelligence officials will question the 33 sailors who were rescued by the Coast Guard, with the help of interpreters.
