CHENNAI: Maveric Systems, a third-party software testing company, has entered into a strategic partnership with the U.K.-based independent software-testing provider, Mission Assurance and Testing Ltd., to offer end-to-end testing services to customers. With this partnership, Maveric Systems is aiming at a 100 per cent year-on-year growth rate in the U.K. and Europe markets, according to Ranga Reddy, Chief Executive Officer. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr. Reddy said that under the terms and conditions of the agreement, the U.K. company would take accountability for initial assessment, service definition and onsite service delivery. Maveric would look into service transition and offshore service delivery. In addition, both the companies would share the investments in capability demonstration and non-commercial pilots. The Managing Director of Mission Assurance and Testing Ltd, Chirs Shaw, said that initially Maveric would execute three commercial pilots during the third quarter for clients in the insurance, educational and content management verticals and subsequently ramp up the operations. The company was planning to hire 100 people for its U.S.-based clients. Mr. Reddy said the company during the current fiscal recorded revenue of Rs. 32 crore. It had three independent testing centres in Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai. It also had operations in West Asia and planned to begin operations in the U.S. soon.
