Benjamin, Vincent, Naveen shine

Hyderabad: A fine century by Benjamin Thomas (153, 18x4, 1x6) helped EMCC to draw its `A' division (two-day) league cricket match against Mega City CC here on Thursday.

In another match, former Andhra Ranji star Vincent Vinay Kumar scored an unbeaten 115 and then claimed four for 22 for State Bank of India in it's drawn encounter against SA Sports, Amberpet.

P. Naveen Kumar returned with a 10-wicket match haul to fashion P & T Colony's six-wicket win over Budding Stars.

`A' division (two-day) league: Mega City CC 377 for nine drew with EMCC 376 for seven (Benjamin Thomas 153, Achintya Rao 72, Minash 48).

Gemini Friends 117 (Abid Ali five for 30) and 110 for three (Hari Haran 62) drew with Osmania University 226 for eight (Ashish 59, Prasad 52, Karthick 45).

Falaknuma 248 (Baljeet Singh four for 86) and 161 for two (Vaman Kumar 70, Prashanth 52) drew with Khalsa 199 (Baljeet Singh 98 not out, Sharan Singh 49, Srimanth five for 62).

Brothers XI 229 (Md. Fareeduddin Ahmed 61, Anil 50, S.K. Kiran Kumar five for 45) and 200 for five (B. Srinivas 83, Asif Baig 55, Taufique Arif 40) drew with PKCC 180 (Vishal 69, Prasanna 52, M. Charan Teja five for 48).

R. Dayanand XI 152 (Sundeep Rajan 43, N. Abhinav five for 30) and 185 for six (Satya 45) drew with Deccan Chronicle 190 (M. Vinay Kumar 70).

Sporting XI 304 (S.S. Bharath Kumar 91, G. Sunil Krupakar 51, D. Krishna Chaitanya 40, Sashidhar seven for 83) drew with Balaji Colts 147 (C. Kiran 40, Sashidhar seven for 83, S.S. Bharath Kumar four for 30).

SBI 203 (Vincent Vinay Kumar 115 not out, Paramveer Singh five for 93) drew with SA Sports, Amberpet 149 (Vijay Karthik 57, Vincent Vinay Kumar four for 22).

Budding Stars 96 (P. Naveen five for 20) and 169 (Piyush Raj 53, P. Naveen five for 55) lost to P & T Colony 177 (M. Sashidhar 51) and 93 for four (Arun Kumar 56 not out).

`B'-2 division league: Young Citizens 116 (Basith 51) lost to XI Masters 117 for six (Mir Saif Ali Khan 52, Masood Baig five for 38).
