NSUI demands action against SKU officials

Tampering of marks in M.Sc second semester alleged


  • A few students who have actually failed are awarded good marks, they say
  • Students blame the coordinator of examinations, the chief examiner, a deputy registrar and a section clerk for the alleged tampering
  • Vice-Chancellor promises to look into the matter

    ANANTAPUR: Students led by National Students' Union of India staged a dharna in front of the office of the Registrar of Sri Krishnadevaraya University here on Thursday alleging tampering of marks in M.Sc second semester and demanding action against the responsible.

    Led by Ch. Rami Reddy of the NSUI, the students complained to Registrar R. Ramakrishna Reddy that the marks of M.Sc. students were tampered with to help some of them in the second semester by officials. As a result, a few students who had actually failed were awarded good marks, they alleged.
