Catholic Syrian Bank launches debit cards

CHENNAI: The Catholic Syrian Bank on Thursday launched an international debit-cum-shopping card in association with VISA International. At a function here, the Banking Ombudsman for Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, S. Gopalakrishnan, issued the first `Global Support' card, which was received by the Managing Director of Sri Gokulam Chit and Finance, A.M. Gopalan.

According to the bank, the card holders can withdraw cash from any ATM of the bank.
