NEW DELHI: The Delhi police have reportedly recovered some sleeping pills from the purse of 27-year-old Jugnu Singh Makkad who was found dead in her Santro car under highly mysterious circumstances at Rajinder Nagar on Tuesday. Investigations have revealed that though Jugnu had told her husband, Rajat, on July 15 that she was going to Sonepat in Haryana where she was pursuing a beautician course, she had actually gone to neighbouring Ghaziabad. The police have found that Jugnu had not joined any course at Sonepat. Enquiries revealed that she also attended a small party in Ghaziabad on Monday. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Delhi) Neeraj Thakur said more details about her movements were being collected. "We cannot arrive at any conclusion till we receive the final post-mortem report," he said. During questioning, Rajat had earlier told the police that he had no clue to the whereabouts of his wife since Monday, the day he talked to her over phone for the last time. And on Tuesday midnight, her highly decomposed body was found on the rear seat of the car parked in the New Rajinder Nagar area. The preliminary post-mortem report suggested no obvious injury marks on the body. The police are still awaiting the viscera report. Jugnu's family members alleged that Rajat, who has no permanent source of income, used to harass her for dowry.
