Disruption in power supply for two days

BANGALORE: There will be intermittent power supply between 8 a.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday in central business areas.

According to a press release, this is to facilitate replacement of 20 mVA transformer by 31.5 mVA transformer carried by Karnataka Power Transmission Company Ltd.

The areas to be affected are: Cunningham Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Infantry Road, parts of Miller's Road, Police Commissioner's office, Queen's Road, Chikka Bazar Road, Hedward Road, Convent Road, Indian Express, Kaveriyappa Layout, Jain Hospital, Ambedkar Bhavan, Vasanth Nagar 11th Main, Palace Guttahalli.

Power supply will also be disrupted during the same period at Kumarapark West, Muneshwara Block, Swimmingpool Extension, S.S. Pura 1st Main, Jayamahal, Tasker Town, parts of Cubbon Road, Frazer Town, parts of Meenakshi Koil Street, parts of Commercial Street, Dispensary Road, parts of Veerapillai Street, Ebrahim Sahib street, Bowring Hospital, Shivajinagar Church Road, parts of Nala Road, Ali Askar Road, IAS Club, Clots Road, Bore Bank Road, Benson Town, Nandidurga Road, 1st Main Vasanthnagar, Silver Palace, Nethaji Road, Bamboo Bazar, Telephone Exchange, Hains Road, Narayanapillai Street, St. John's Church Road, Thimmaiah Road, and Shivajinagar.
