KURNOOL: Kurnool Medical College (KMC) completed 50 years on Friday. A meeting of Old Students Association was held on Friday to chalk out the celebrations to be held in January. It was decided to set up a knowledge centre at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore commemorating the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the college. Addressing the meeting, General Hospital Superintendent Anjaiah said the amount was raised from old students of the college who had settled abroad. He said the celebrations would be held between January 19 and 21. A photo exhibition and cultural programmes would be conducted in a big way and a web site on the college would be launched on the occasion.
