TIRUMALA: The TTD management which has been toying over with several suggestions with regard to beautification of Tirumala town, has decided to develop the sprawling Narayanagiri gardens situated in the heart of the town at a cost of Rs. 9.50 crores. Briefing media persons TTD garden superintendent Gopinath said that apart from developing rose gardens, the TTD will also construct a massive auditorium with state-of-art technique to suit the annual Sri Padmavathi Parinayotsavam festival which is conducted in the gardens every year. Besides this, promenade development also shall be taken up along the holy Alwar tank bund for the benefit of the pilgrims. The scheme also includes development of children parks and lawns in the vicinity. A musical water fountain with synchronised lighting will also be developed in the area behind the main temple complex.
