Train to stop at Kopargaon

HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to provide a three-minute stoppage to Vasco-da-Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco-da-gama Goa Express trains (2779/2780) at Kopargaon railway station in the Solapur Division of Central Railway for the benefit of pilgrims visiting Shirdi Sai Baba temple.

The service will be introduced at Kopargaon, which is situated between Ahmednagar and Manmad railway stations on an experimental basis from August 1 for three months, according to a release.

Accordingly Vasco-da-Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin Goa Express (2779) will arrive at 8.47 a.m. at Kopargaon and leave at 8.50 a.m.

The train will arrive at Ahmednagar at 7.10 a.m. and leave at 7.13 a.m. It will arrive at Manmad at 9.55 a.m. and leave at 10 a.m.

In the return direction, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco-da-Gama Goa Express will arrive at Kopargaon at 11.25 a.m. and leave at 11.28 a.m.

The train will arrive at Manmad at 10.30 a.m. and leave at 10.35 a.m. It will arrive at Ahmednagar at 1.07 p.m. and leave at 1.10 p.m., the release said.
