HYDERABAD: If one thought a WagonR was `boxy' and looked `flat', they have all been smoothened out.

That's what Maruti Suzuki now boasts of with its new `WagonR Duo' that can run on liquefied petroleum gas or petrol.

At just about the same cost, the new version of WagonR offers 10 per cent more fuel efficiency.

The improved `WagonR Duo' was unveiled here on Friday by S. Oishi, Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) and Mayank Pareek, General Manager, Marketing.

As for the ex-showroom price in Hyderabad, the Duo WagonR Lxi comes for Rs. 3.67 lakhs against Rs. 3.71 lakhs for WagonR Vxi.

The Lxi is the fully-loaded high-end version and coupled with Lx, comes in eight colours, including five new ones — metallic passion red, forest flush (green), royale gold, ocean blue and Bahamas beige.

The new look exterior includes headlamps, front grille, hood, design bumpers, fenders, turn lamps and side mouldings and a completely redesigned interior.
