Karnataka model
The Lok Ayukta said that the government was not cooperating in some cases, and cited the one involving former MLA Pilli Suribabu in which they had submitted a report in 2004. He said that they also proposed 20 amendments citing Karnataka Lok Ayukta as a model, where the Anti-Corruption Bureau was under its purview with separate enforcement wing, required number of policemen, vehicles and statuary powers. He said that they were facing fund crunch from the beginning and that their representations to the government did not meet with the desired result. Before conducting camp court here at R&B guesthouse, he said that there were 10 cases against Ministers and MLAs of which four were taken up suo motu. Deputy Registrar K.
