Bharath stars for Good Shepherd

Bangalore: Bharath Kondajji's eight-wicket haul propelled Good Shepherd School to a ten-wicket victory over Sri Kumaran's Public School in a Himalaya Cup inter-school under-15 tournament match here on Friday. Sri Kumaran's scored 41 and Good Shepherd School won in 5.3 overs.

The scores: Sri Kumaran's Public School 41 in 15.4 overs (Bharath Kondajji eight for 16) lost to Good Shepherd School 42 for no loss in 5.3 overs.

National Public School 203 in 39.2 overs (Siddarth Panj 69, Srimketh 46) bt Sri Aurobindo School 166 all out in 37.2 overs.

Jyothi Kendriya Vidyalaya 203 in 37.3 overs (T.V. Aaditya 40 n.o., Salim Jaffer four for 38, Ravi Kumar Yadhav four for 30) bt Reliance Public School 125 in 27.4 overs.

Bright HS 80 in 18 overs (Murali five for 21) lost to MS Ramaiah Vidyaniketan School 81 for no loss in 13.2 overs (Jayanth 50 n.o.).

St. Mira's HS 65 in 13.4 overs (Nirmal five for 28) lost to St. Claret School 69 for no loss in eight overs.

Innisfree Hoyse School 153 in 28 overs (Hari Kiran 44) lost to East West School 154 for two in 25 overs (Goutam 66 n.o.).

Venkat International School 188 in 35.4 overs (Kishan 64 n.o.) bt St. Paul's English School 163 in 37.5 overs (Rahul 55, Serivenalla four for 24).

Inter-school volleyball
