B.Sc. results

The results of the I, II and III B.Sc. Radiography (RS), III B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) and III year BPT (RS and RS2) examinations conducted in April 2006 have been released on Friday evening. Details such as marks secured in each subject, class and the names of colleges are available on www.rguhs.ac.in

No power supply today

There will be no power in K.R. Puram, Thambuchetty Palya, Garden City College limits, R.K. Industrial Area, Doddagubbi and surrounding areas on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. as BESCOM will carry out maintenance works. Power supply is also going to be affected at Hennur Main Road, Kariyanapalya, Oil Mill Road, KSFC Layout, Bharatiyar Road, HRBR 2nd Block, Shobhighat, Yasin Nagar, Chikka Banaswadi, Banaswadi Main Road, Subbaianapalya, Kammanahalli Main Road, IOC Junction and surrounding areas.

Interruption in phone service

There will be an interruption in telephone lines working from Bangalore East Exchange from midnight of Saturday to 4 a.m. on Sunday because of shutdown of power plant for technical reasons, according to an official press release.

Free health camp

The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) will organise a free health camp at Magadi Town on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free medicines will be provided to all patients. Details can be had on 23584260.

Training

The Ministry of Tourism, as a part of its capacity building programme for service providers involved in tourism industry, will impart training to taxi and autorickshaw drivers at the Indiranagar Road Transport Office on Monday. The programme will be conducted in association with the Karnataka Tourism Forum and the Department of Transport.
