A decorated car will start from Talacauvery

Madikeri: The Suvarna Karnataka Utsava will be organised in Kodagu district from October 4 to October 9, Kodagu Deputy Commissioner Subodh Yadav said here on Saturday.

He was presiding over a meeting in his chambers to coordinate various activities relating to the festival, an official release said.

The decorated car called "Karnataka Samskriti Dibbana" would start from Talacauvery after a traditional puja on October 4, Mr. Yadav said. The car would then arrive at Bhagamandala where it would be formally inaugurated by District in-charge Minister Ramachandra Gowda. It would travel through all the three taluks. Routes of the car were also announced by Mr. Yadav.
