Coimbatore: The Hindu Opportunities Fair 2006 will be organised at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, on September 23 and 24. This is the third time that the job fair is being organised in Chennai. This year, The Hindu has so far conducted the fair in Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore and Coimbatore. Professionals with more than two years of job experience will have `Fast Track Entry' for recruitment. Students fresh from college and young people with less than two years of work experience will be called only after pre-screening of their curriculum vitae (CV). Candidates who wish to attend the job fair at Chennai should apply online at www.thehindu.com and www.tmifirst.com/hf6/index/aspx, the sites allocated for registration. Those with less than two years of experience will receive hall entry tickets (HET) by return mail if the recruiting companies find that the applicants will be suitable for jobs available. Entry will be strictly by invitation.
Original certificates
Candidates should bring photocopies of their original certificates and several copies of their CVs to hand over to companies interested in recruiting them. They should also be ready for tests and interviews.
