India blanks Zimbabwe

Chennai: India defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 in a Group match of the 14th World junior men's team squash championship at Palmerston North in New Zealand.

Sandeep Jangra gave India a flying start defeating Deepesh Patel, before Harinderpal Singh accounted for Ahmed Hussain. Naresh Kumar signed off the day in style with a victory over Zardeen Wazir.

India, seeded seventh, would meet Ireland on Monday and then take on Pakistan and South Africa on Tuesday.
