Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in Alamathy, Puzhal, Thiruvanmiyur, Panjetty, TV Pet, Seven Wells, Sowcarpet, Tolgate, Ambattur West, Korattur and Poonamallee on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work. Supply will be resumed before 5 p.m. if the work is completed.

BPO seminar

YMCA Madras Esplanade Branch is organising a seminar on `business process outsourcing for building pupils' opportunities' for school students on July 29 from 10 a.m. Students from classes 11-12 may participate. Eye check- up

Narayana Seva camp

Hindu Mission Hospital conducted their 306th Narayana Seva Camp 2006 at Thirumalainagar, Sembakkam where 180 patients were treated.

Blood donation

The Raintree Hotel, Ceebros Group celebrated its first anniversary by conducting a blood donation camp in association with the Lions Blood Bank. Almost 200 employees donated blood. S.Ve. Shekar was the guest of honour at the event.
