Seminar on role of NGOs

coimbatore: A two-day national seminar on `The Role of NGOs and Social Work Institutions in Disaster Management' has been organised for July 30 and 31 by the Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science. The Officer on Special Duty (Relief and Rehabilitation), C.V. Shankar, will inaugurate the seminar. The sessions of the seminar include experience of social work colleges and NGOs in disaster management and pychosocial care in disaster management. Academicians, research scholars, social workers, NGOs and post-graduate students of social science can participate in it.Two best papers presented by research scholars will be chosen for awards.
