Bangalore: Bangalore University has invited applications for admissions to various courses offered on its Jnana Bharathi campus, Central College campus, Postgraduate Centre at Kolar and in the affiliated colleges for 2006-07.

Candidates seeking admission can obtain the application and prospectus at select branches of State Bank of Mysore on payment of Rs. 200 under general merit, payment and other categories; Rs. 100 for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Category 1. Outstation candidates can obtain it through post by sending a self-addressed envelop of A4 size with a requisite stamp affixed on it, along with a demand draft for the requisite amount drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Bangalore University, Bangalore; and send it to Registrar, Bangalore University, Jnana Bharati Campus, Bangalore 560056.

Candidates seeking admission to more than one course should submit individual applications for each course. Those seeking admission under payment category need to submit individual applications under "payment category". Applications should be submitted to the departments concerned on Jnana Bharati campus, Central College campus and Postgraduate Centre, Kolar. Applications for speech and hearing courses should be submitted at the Institute of Speech and Hearing, Hennur Road, Bangalore 560084, and for home science at the VHD Institute of Home Science, Palace Road, Bangalore 560009. The applications will be available from July 27. Last date to submit completed applications is August 10, and August 12 with a fine of Rs. 50.
