Mumbai firm wins Tata Quiz

MUMBAI: The Mumbai-based Questa Software has won the `Tata Crucible — The Business Quiz 2006', organised by the Tata Group, here on Sunday. The winners, Manish Tandon and Amit Panclega, won the cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh.

While 16 teams qualified for the finals, other finalists of the non-Tata Group companies were: Sify India, Accenture, ICICI Lombard, Vizag Steel, Kotak Insurance, Zensar Technologies and SBI Life. The quiz was conducted by quizmaster, Giri (pickbrain), Balasubramaniam.

There were eight teams that had qualified for `Internal Track', a business quiz for Tata Group employees. The finals were conducted on Sunday and Tata Consultancy Services, Kolkata, emerged triumphant for the third time in a row. This time it was won by Sabyasachi Chandra and Biswabijoy Sen.
