Letters to the Editor
The reported capture of Lashkar-e-Taiba's top terrorist Abdul Karim `Tunda' and the subsequent denial deepen the mystery surrounding his whereabouts.
The Kenyan authorities seem to be playing games with India on the `mistaken identity' of `Tunda.'
As suggested by the Kenya Times, the real `Tunda' must have been already deported to an unknown destination for questioning by American authorities.
Georgy Cherian,
Once again Pervez Musharraf has attempted to hoodwink the international community by offering to cooperate with India in tracking down the terrorists involved in the Mumbai blasts if furnished with proof of their links with Pakistan.
Major N.S. Madhavan (retd.),
If you give us proof we will help you, says Gen. Musharraf. What he has left unsaid is more significant so long as proof cannot be proffered, or it is ensured that it cannot be found, he will have no compunction in continuing to support terrorist activities against India.
S. Varadarajan,
