JD(S) workers stage demonstration
Staff Reporter
Bangalore:
Janata Dal (Secular) workers and supporters on Monday staged a demonstration at Mysore Bank Circle here protesting against the bribery allegations levelled by the suspended BJP legislator G. Janardhana Reddy against Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and two Ministers.
Shouting anti-Reddy slogans, they said that it was shocking how he had come to amass so much wealth and emerge as a political leader in the State. Demanding that the means adopted by him to grow rich should be inquired into by the Central Bureau of Investigation, a party activist, M.G. Mani Hegde, urged that his wealth be confiscated by the Government.
He demanded that an inquiry should also be held against the government officials for whose transfers Mr. Reddy allegedly pressured the Chief Minister.
