CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Telangana and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep.

Ankola (Uttara Kannada dt) recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cms.

FORECAST (valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Kerala.
