ONGOLE: The bodies of eight Maoists, including State secretary of CPI (Maoist) Madhav, who were killed in an encounter with the police in Nallamala forest in Prakasam district on Sunday, are being brought to Markapur by a lorry on Monday. They will be handed over to their relatives after post-mortem examination at Markapur on Saturday. The police could identify the bodies of only three victims Madhav, Syamala and Suseela till now. Inspector-General of Police (Grey Hounds) Durgaprasad, IG of Guntur Range Satyanarayan, Superintendent of Police, Prakasam, N. Balasubramanyam and Officer on Special Duty, Markapur, Ranganath and some press photographers and videographers flew in an helicopter from Markapur to the place of encounter.
