Indian School revisits Mughal era with the hosting of "Malhaar"

NEW DELHI:
The Indian School hosted its annual inter-school music and dance competition, "Malhaar", here over the weekend.
Sanskriti School won top honours
Over 13 public schools took part in the competition in which Sanskriti School won the top honours, while Delhi Public School R.K. Puram emerged runners-up for their overall performance.
The theme of this year's competition was the Mughal era and it was held in three categories -- "tabla", "ghazal" and "kathak".
To create awareness about the environment, tableaux formed part of the show and emphasis was laid on water harvesting and conservation.
Being the hosts, The Indian School did not vie for any individual or group prize in the competition.
