Crowd hurls stones at Awadh Express

Agra: About a dozen passengers received minor injuries when a crowd pelted stones on Awadh Express running between Bandra and Gorakhpur at Ruikimandi in the district on Sundayt night, railway officials said on Monday.

The crowd stoned the two air- conditioned and one sleeper class compartments at Ruikimandi crossing as the train stopped there for a while for getting clearance to proceed, they said. The injured passengers were given first aid at the Agra fort station prior to the onward movement of the train.
