CHENNAI:
The Tamil Nadu Jawahar Children's Club presents children excelling in creative fields with `Balashree' awards every year.
The selection process would be held at three levels--regional, zonal and national.
Selection process
Selection for Chennai district would be held through a series of competitions to be held between July 28 and 31.
Children in the age group of 9-16 years may participate.
Following is the schedule:
July 28 - Performing Arts (music, dance, dramatics); July 29 - Science; July 30 - Writing skills (English and Tamil); July 31 - Painting, sketching, sculpture.
The competitions would be held at Tagore auditorium, Tamil Nadu Government Music College, Greenways Road in Chennai at 9.30 a.m.
