KARIMNAGAR: Unable to undergo mental torture due to alleged dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws, a woman committed suicide by consuming a pesticide in Bathinipalli of Kamalapur mandal. Police sources said that S. Saritha (23) consumed pesticide on Sunday night and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Parkal of Warangal district on Monday. Her husband Srinivas (26) had been allegedly harassing her demanding additional dowry of Rs. 50,000. The couple had two children. The police have registered cases against Saritha's husband, in-laws and sister-in-law.
