Mumbai stockbroker opens office

VISAKHAPATNAM: Mumbai-based share and stockbroker, Emkay Shares and Stock Brokers Limited, opened its branch in Visakhapatnam recently. This research based company has 28 branches and 64 franchisees spread over the country.

The company's core area of operations is stock-broking and allied services. According to its managing director Krishna Kumar Karwa, is listed with both BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange). As part of the expansion plans, three new branches one each at Rajahmundry, Singapore and Dubai are in the pipeline.

The research wing covers IT and media, auto and ancillaries, specialty chemicals, pharma, banking, textiles, FMCG, metals, power, telecom, construction, paper, and mid-cap sectors. The company also offers E-Broking, equities, derivatives, mutual funds, portfolio management services, depositories and commodity trading.
