Thiruvananthapuram: The tenth state conference of the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust began at the Saigramam here on Monday with prayers, rituals and an all-religious bhajan. Inaugurating the conference, Kerala Upa Lok Ayukta Krishnan Nair said the greatest worship was to identify the needy and the destitute, and provide them with clothing and food. Lamenting that service had become an alien term for Government employees, he said they were refusing to implement laws. Acting chairperson of the trust Dr.Subhadra Nair presided over the function.
