No classes at polytechnic college

KOCHI: Due to chance interviews being held, there will be no regular classes for second and third-year students at the Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery on Tuesday.

Protest by nursing students

KOCHI: The Kerala Government Student Nurses' Association will observe Tuesday as `Attention calling day' to highlight the plight of nursing students at Government nursing colleges. Protests will be held in front of the District Medical Office here at 11 a.m. — Staff Reporter.

Passports issued

KOCHI: The Regional Passport Office has processed and issued passports for applications received till June 20, 2006, where police verification has been completed. The passports have been despatched in the week ending July 21, said Regional Passport Officer. — Staff Reporter.

Music class

KOCHI: Avishkar Kottaram Sankunni Nair Smaraka Kala Kendram will conduct classes in violin, guitar, classical guitar, piano and keyboard.
