Charged with murdering wife

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: A man allegedly beat his wife to death on Sunday at his house in Parvathinagar of Chatrinaka. The accused, Narsing, was a watchman with Government Hostel for Boys in old city.

On Sunday, he returned home allegedly in a drunken condition and picked up a quarrel with his wife, Ramulamma, 35, when he found her speaking to another man. "He dragged her into the house and beat her up badly even as she pleaded innocence," the police said.

Neighbours shifted the woman to a hospital. She was declared brought dead. Police are on the lookout for Narsing.
