Taxpayers asked to file IT returns early

HYDERABAD:
Chief Commissioner of Income tax, Andhra Pradesh, has asked all assesses or taxpayers to file their returns on July 25, 26, 27 and 28 to avoid inconvenience due to last minute rush on July 31.
He said early filing had become necessary in view of the agitation by department employees from July 25 to 31.
The Department of Posts will accept Income Tax returns on behalf of the IT Department from July 26 onwards. Eighteen post offices in the twin cities will receive the returns.
The designated post offices are Hyderabad GPO, Hyderabad Jubilee HO, Secunderabad HO, Khairatabad HO, Trimulgherry HO, Stn. Kachiguda HO, Jamai Osmania post office, Golconda PO, Begumpet PO, Musheerabad PO, Humayunnagar PO, Malakpet Colony PO, SR Nagar PO, Malkajgiri PO, Gandhinagar PO, LIC PO, Secretariat PO and the Sainikpuri PO.
