Tayal group bags Rs. 570-cr. power projects

MUMBAI: The Tayal group of companies has bagged the development rights for two hydel power projects from the Uttaranchal Government, one of 63 MW and the other of 7.7 MW. Tayal Energy, a subsidiary of KSL and Industries, will execute these two projects in Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh districts of Uttaranchal State at an estimated cost of Rs. 570 crore. These projects will be executed on a build-own-operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.
