IOB signs MoU with C.R.I. Pumps

CHENNAI: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with C.R.I. Pumps, Coimbatore, a leading pumpset manufacturer, for financing farmers for purchase of C.R.I. pumpsets. C.R.I. Pumps, with a network of 4,500 dealers in India and branches in a few centres abroad, is also exporting its products to 60 countries. Under the MoU with IOB, farmers will be identified jointly by the bank and CRI Pumps. The company will also inspect the farm and assist the farmer in the choice of irrigation pumpset and its installation, according to a release.
