HYDERABAD: Santoshnagar police station Inspector S. Sai Krishna has been suspended following the death of a financier allegedly in police custody in connection with a murder case here on Tuesday. The victim Shaik Ali Pasha, 50, whose name figured in the murder of an autorickshaw driver Sardar Ali, 60, reported four days ago, was brought to the police station three days ago for interrogation. Pasha's brother Syed Rafeeq alleged that the police subjected the victim to third degree methods forcing him to admit to the murder of Ali. "As far as I know, my brother was in no way connected with the killing and the police tried to implicate him in a false case bowing to pressure best known to them," he told reporters at Osmania General Hospital.
