Preparing for the Frankfurt show

NEW DELHI:
India has been declared "Guest of Honour Country" at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2006 in Germany. And National Book Trust, India, has been designated as the nodal agency by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development to coordinate various activities to be undertaken to celebrate the occasion.
To create awareness among participating publishers, booksellers and printers, the National Book Trust is organising a seminar on "How to do Frankfurt Book Fair" at India International Centre here on Wednesday.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Sudeep Banerjee, Secretary in the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
A representative of the German publishing industry and senior representatives of the Frankfurt Book Fair authority will address the seminar.
