KAU to conduct memorial lecture

THRISSUR: Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has decided to organise an annual endowment lecture in memory of its former Vice-Chancellor and Kerala State Planning Board member the late K.N. Shyamasundaran Nair.

The maiden talk in the lecture series will be delivered by Karnataka State Agriculture Price Commission chairman S. Bisaliah at Veterinary College, Mannuthy, near here, on Thursday, according to a release received from the university.

Dr. Bisaliah, who is also the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, will speak on `New economic reforms and agriculture.'

The first death anniversary of Dr. Nair was on Monday.
