JEYPORE: Five hundred land pattas were distributed among tribals in the naxal-infested areas of Pottangi block by Koraput District Collector Subha Sharma on Thursday. She assured the tribals that their land problems would be solved. In another programme on Thursday, district medical officer K.H. Reddy inaugurated a free medical check-up camp at Kotia village on the Andhra-Orissa border under Pottangi block that was attended by Sub-collector Padmanabha Sethi as chief guest. Some 163 tribals attended the camp and 60 children were treated. Mr Padmanabha Sethi who was the chief guest stressed the need for strengthening health and education facilities and improving the socio-economic conditions in the area. Dr. Bharadwaj Mishra and sarpanch Phulmani Pangi were present .
