Protest against attack on minorities

RALLY: Catholic organisations of Mangalore taking out a procession in the city against the attacks on minorities in the district here on Tuesday

MANGALORE: A group of Catholic organisations today protested against the attacks on minorities in the district. They have appealed to the district administration that the attacks on minorities have been on the increase in the recent days.

The protest rally and the public meeting were organized by Catholic Sabha of Mangalore diocese, ICYM and Karavali Konkans and Yuva Awaz.

Speaking on the occasion leader of the Christian community Ivan D'Souza told that the attacks on minority by some fundamentalist organisations were occurring at regular intervals and were designed to bring discredit to the unity of various communities in the district.
